Is there a dedicated yacht visa for Indonesia?
No. As of 2026 there is no specific leisure “yacht visa”. Foreign visitors arriving by private vessel — passengers or crew — use the same public entry routes as other tourists. We identify and arrange the correct one for your voyage.
What are the short-stay options?
The Visa on Arrival (VOA) and its online version, the e-VOA, generally grant a thirty-day tourism stay, extendable once for a further thirty. They are the usual route for short cruising visits.
What if we are staying more than sixty days?
For stays beyond sixty days, or where the purpose extends past tourism — professional work, long-term vessel management — a different visit-visa class, obtained before arrival, is required. We advise on the exact class for your case.
What is a CAIT?
The CAIT — Clearance Approval for Indonesian Territory — is the cruising permit that authorises a foreign yacht to sail within Indonesian waters. It is distinct from your personal visa and is issued for the vessel.
When should we arrange the CAIT?
Well before arrival. Cruising permits require vessel and crew documentation and a short lead time, so we recommend starting several weeks ahead of your planned entry.
Which documents does the vessel need?
Typically registration, insurance, a crew and passenger list, and vessel particulars. We provide a precise checklist and prepare the application with you.
Do you handle port clearance (PPKK)?
Yes. We manage harbourmaster and port clearance formalities at arrival, between ports, and on departure, keeping the vessel compliant throughout its time in Indonesia.
What about customs?
We coordinate customs (Bea Cukai) formalities, including temporary vessel importation where applicable, so the yacht clears cleanly and without delay.
Can you arrange visas for the whole crew?
Yes. We facilitate the appropriate pathway for every crew member — short entries through to extended stay permits — alongside owner and captain visas, coordinated as one file.
Do you handle crew changes mid-charter?
We do. Crew joining or leaving in Bali can be managed with the correct entry and exit formalities so the roster stays compliant without disrupting your itinerary.
How long does processing take?
It depends on the visa or permit class. An e-VOA can be quick, while cruising permits and stay permits require more lead time. We give you a realistic timeline at the outset and advise applying early.
How is pricing structured?
We quote all-in agency service estimates — not official government fees. The final figure depends on nationality, duration and sponsor, and you always receive a transparent, itemised quote before we begin.
How do we start?
