Indonesia has no dedicated leisure “yacht visa”, so owners enter and stay on the same public immigration routes as other visitors — matched to how long you intend to cruise, oversee your vessel or simply enjoy Bali. Matching the route to your stay

For a short cruise or a flying visit to check on your vessel, the Visa on Arrival or e-VOA is usually enough — thirty days, extendable once for a further thirty. Planning a longer season aboard, or hands-on oversight of a refit or crew? The B211A visit visa gives sixty days with two possible extensions. Where your involvement becomes ongoing management, a KITAS stay permit may be the better fit. We weigh your itinerary against each route and recommend the one that keeps things simple.

Beyond a visit — multi-year residency

If Bali is becoming a true home base rather than a stop on the itinerary, you need not string together short visas indefinitely. Is there a special visa just for yacht owners?

Can I extend without leaving Indonesia?
